Baltimore

In this episode, we visit four gardens in Baltimore. Our first stop is Ladew Topiary Gardens, where we find whimsical statues carved out of plant material. Then, Ann and Syd King welcome all to their private garden, which steeply slopes below and behind their home. Evergreen House, located on the campus of Johns Hopkins University, reflects the elegant lifestyle of old Baltimore. Finally, we visit Hampton Historic Site where 200 years of gardening lies behind a Georgian mansion.
