Although it's late spring, it's not too late to grow herbs. With their various leaf colors and textures, they make wonderful additions to the garden and they don't take up a lot of room. Host Chris Dawson discusses the different types of herbs that can be grown in a kitchen garden. He plants a strawberry-jar herb garden and places a watering tube in the center of the pot for even water distribution. He also plants an herb garden using a grouping of terra-cotta pots and shows how to grow an herb garden in a small space just a few steps from the kitchen door.
