An objective was to employ a full 7.1 surround sound system but, aside from the TV screen, have no a/v equipment intruding upon the clean look of the space.

The equipment rack is located in a separate room. Stealth Acoustics speakers help keep audio inconspicuous, and a floor-model subwoofer and Blu-Ray player are both concealed inside a custom cabinet for easy access.

The room serves as a social hub for the main residence, a five-story townhouse in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, and a smaller guest townhouse. The media room, situated on the top floor of the guest house, is outfitted with four Samsung televisions, each with dedicated satellite receiver.
