The homeowners wanted to be able to control all systems from a single device and to be able to switch between systems with ease. Fiber-optic wiring was used to connect elements within the system to avoid signal loss over the long distances that were required.

Rooms with access to the house audio system include the master bedroom, master bath, kitchen, planning center, game room, summer kitchen, courtyard, rear exterior, exercise room, sunken lounge, three additional bedrooms, home theater, home office and man cave.

The full system includes equipment from Savant, Integra, Bower & Wilkins and Sonance, among others. The home theater includes a 7.2-channel surround system utilizing four in-ceiling speakers and two in-ceiling subwoofers.
