Japanese Pole House

Dorothy's daughter, Fredda, and son-in-law, Doug, have built her a Japanese pole house next to their own home so that she can be close to her growing granddaughter, Skye. While Dorothy enjoys decorating, the 750-square-foot open plan has proven to be quite a challenge. Host Kenneth Brown works with the open plan and designs a one-of-a-kind look for Dorothy's living and sleeping space that will integrate the furnishings and the traditional Japanese architecture.
