Hide CaptionShow CaptionA new color scheme creates a comfortable and cozy guest bedroom.
Before, the wallpaper was dated and made the room look old and tatty. Now, it feels like a comfortable, cozy retreat. Replacing the wallpaper with a neutral wall color makes the architecture and high ceiling stand out. The troublesome skylight has been repaired and reframed. New bedding, window treatments, lamps and accessories complete the look.

In the bathroom (not shown), the competing whites have stopped clashing. The room feels rich and clean, thanks to the addition of color on the walls and the spruced-up vanity. Round, twin mirrors, new fixtures and a unique pendant light complete the updated, contemporary feel.
