Updating an Old Gem

Designer Lisa LaPorta opted to set up this room as a master bedroom instead of a den. It adds more value to the house, and it makes good design sense since there is a big bathroom right off the room. The hodgepodge of souvenirs and furniture has been moved out to make room for the elegantly dressed bed. Suede-like drapes and cherry wood furniture add an air of sophistication that makes the room feel like a romantic hunting lodge.
