Real estate expert Shannon Freeman stops by the condo to help form the team’s to-do list. Her first impression of the place isn’t so good. She thinks the barren outdoor patio looks like an exercise yard in a very small prison. The first rule in real estate is to show off the assets. In the living room, the homeowners broke that rule by blocking the fireplace with a huge TV. Freeman is disappointed by the master bedroom — it looks like the storage area for mismatched furniture. The combination guest room and office is cluttered and completely disorganized. The basement, also known as the spooky nook is piled high with boxes and even more clutter.
Designer Lisa LaPorta agrees with Freeman’s assessment and has a $2,000 plan that will make these homeowners/realtors a big profit.
Step 1: Transform the master bedroom into a cozy and elegant retreat.
Step 2: Declutter and then stage the guest room/office as a useable, multipurpose space.
Step 3: Clean up the basement, and create an organized storage area.
Carpenters Deus Scott and Steve Hanneman know the plan and are ready to get to work.
