Hide CaptionShow CaptionBefore, the leaf-littered backyard was anything but inviting. Now, potential buyers can see themselves eating, lounging and entertaining underneath the tree-canopied deck.
By using just one patio table and adding the striking daybed, the deck has turned into extra living space. Flowerpots filled with a bright combination of marigolds, Gerber daisies, begonias and sweet potato vine were an easy and inexpensive way to add color.

Cost breakdown:

outdoor daybed $200
patio decor $550
bedding and mattress $300
window seat $65
landscaping $295
paint, wood and stain $250
accessories $330

Total: $1,990
