Too Cramped for Two

When the Designed to Sell team started out, this living room was garish green and had a cluttered furniture placement. Now, neutral colors and a new furniture layout make the space feel more open and serene. The fireplace is painted black to coordinate with the granite countertops in the kitchen and a simple stencil design gives the place a custom look. A new rug and window treatments pull it all together.

Before, the dining room’s dated, brass light fixture, burned out bulbs and gaudy blinds made the room look neglected. Now, semi-sheer window treatments dress up the space and a scaled-down dining set works well with the new countertop eating area that connects to the kitchen.
