This space is in need of an overall overhaul. It could use new paint, light fixtures, a new window and radiator covers. The homeowner loves the red color—it took her months to pick it out. But red is not a big selling color. The dark color along with the boarded-up window (not shown) make the living area feel very enclosed. The pale-green color in the dining room is not appealing to potential homebuyers either. Neutral tones will help highlight the home's architectural details.
