Tone Down the Colors

The circus-themed kitchen is a thing of the past. The archway that divided the kitchen space is torn down making two small spaces into one big, functional kitchen. A bar-height table is cut in half and placed against the wall to provide an additional countertop and seating. The freshly painted white cabinets are dressed up with new hardware and the homeowners purchased all new appliances.

Before, the master bedroom’s (not shown) crimson walls and peeling paint would have sent up a red flag for potential buyers. Now, warm colors and a wood-paneled alcove make the space feel like a romantic mountain retreat.
