Hide CaptionShow CaptionNow this guest bedroom is full of personality and flair.
Before, this guest room was boring and uninviting, but now it pops with personality. The black-and-white décor adds a little drama, but it is still neutral enough to appeal to homebuyers. Framed photographs and a chandelier also help give the space a sophisticated wow factor.

The real estate expert thought the utility and laundry room (not shown) were horrible. The Designed to Sell team reconfigures the space to add more storage and less clutter. To make more room, the bulky hot-water heater is replaced with a tankless model. A closet is built around the washer and dryer, concealing them behind louvered doors. New shelves in the laundry closet and by the new back door entryway complete the project.
