Prepping a Houseboat for Sale

The stateroom (bedroom), has a wonderful view of the Washington Monument. Unfortunately, the bedroom itself is not that wonderful. Even with three large windows, the wood paneling makes the room seem dark and very enclosed. Another big turnoff for buyers is sure to be the old, stained carpeting.

The living room, also known as the main cabin (not shown) is so dated that host Shane Tallent commented that it reminded him of the 1980s TV show Magnum P.I. The old furniture, against the dirty carpet and dark wall paneling looks like it hasn't changed at all in 20 years.
