Marcia and Tony Cunha have to be out of their house in 30 days so they can move into their new one. But is a quick sale even possible? Our team of experts steps in to assess the situation and find out if a $2,000 budget and their help can make it happen.

First on the scene is real estate expert Donna Freeman, who provides her blunt assessment of what the Cuhnas can do to make a faster sale. The curb appeal is great, she said, and will go a long way toward getting potential buyers inside the house.

The interior, however, needs a lot of work, starting with the living room. It is cluttered, has dirty fixtures and awkward furniture placement. Same goes for most of the other rooms.

Designer Lisa LaPorta devises a three-step plan for giving this home a fresh new look.

Step 1: Continue with the Colonial style, pulling it in from the outside. The American Colonial is one of the most popular and in-demand home styles.

Step 2: Refurnish for less. Stretch the budget to turn your furniture from shabby to chic.

Step 3: Say goodbye to grime. All signs of wear and tear need to disappear.
