This sunken living room has a lot going for it –– the large space, big windows and attractive furniture. But the green walls don’t match with anything. They make the room feel disjointed and uncoordinated. Also, there are too many family photos and toys in the room. Potential buyers need to picture themselves in the space. If there are too many personal items in the room, it will be hard for them to do that.
The dining room (not shown) has beautiful chair rail running around the perimeter of the room. The walls are yellow above the chair rail and cream below it. Unfortunately, these two colors do not blend well together. Also, the hutch is huge; it overpowers the room making it feel small and cluttered.
