Another Baby, Another Room

Before, the indoor sunroom with its patio furniture and odd window would have had potential buyers scratching their heads. Now, new furniture, carpet and window treatments clearly define this space as a cozy sitting room. The odd exterior window is covered in drywall and the whole is room painted a warm, buyer-friendly neutral color.

What was once a dark kitchen (not shown) filled with a dizzy mix of patterns and clutter is now a bright, calm space. The walls and ceiling are toned down with a bright, but neutral color. New floor tile in a more neutral pattern also helps make the space seem bigger. The cabinets are painted and modernized with new hardware. The exterior window that sat between the kitchen and sunroom is removed, and the recess is converted into a handy spice rack.
