Incorporating Art Deco Design In a Spanish Style Home

While Phil and Crystal Weinstein love the architecture of their 1920s Spanish-style home, they're drawn more to Art Deco style than to Spanish decor. The Rate My Space design team blends the two styles in their living room by incorporating the home's dark wood and rustic architecture and adding layers of black and white geometric patterns and pops of color. Additionally, they turn a bland fireplace into a major focal point with a new mantle and colorful ceramic tile, while new leather chairs ground the room and look fantastic against creamy yellow walls.
