Patrick Clark began his broadcasting career in radio at a children's radio station in St. Louis. He later became a reporter and field producer at KDNL-TV before joining KPLR-TV in 1996, where he was an anchor as well as a reporter.
Clark left radio to become an adjunct professor at Southern Illinois University, and he began a weekly column for the St. Louis Post Dispatch website in 2000.
Prior to his work with HGTV, Clark was an Emmy Award- and Telly Award-winning host on the G4techTV Cable Network. He was also featured on the ABC Family Channel and All News Channel, and served as a correspondent for Cartoon Network.
In his spare time, Patrick Clark enjoys playing the piano, guitar and harmonica, and has released two CDs featuring his music. Other interests include mountain biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, golf, baseball and basketball.
