For this project, you’ll repeat a 10-inch pattern of blue and white stripes across the wall every 6 inches. Note: Your pattern may not repeat fully at the ends of the walls.
- white and blue paint
- paint rollers
- tape measure
- painter's tape
Paint the entire wall white. Let dry.
Measure the wall’s width in inches. Divide the width by 16 to determine the total number of patterns.
Find the center of the wall; mark it with a pencil. Tape off two vertical lines 10 inches apart, each 5 inches from the center of the wall. Measure in 1 inch from each vertical line and tape off two more vertical lines. Paint the white wall between the taped sections blue. Remove the tape. Repeat this pattern every 6 inches.
