Mock Orange

Powerfully fragrant, the mock orange has pure-white double flowers that appear on this dark-green deciduous shrub in early or midsummer.

Fragrant Pineapple Broom

Cytisus battandieri, otherwise known as Pineapple Broom, is a deciduous shrub that boasts gray green leaves. Flowers are pure yellow and project a pineapple scent that is present from May to June.

Anne Russell Viburnum

A compact deciduous shrub, the viburnum offers clusters of pink buds that produce fragrant white flowers in mid- to late spring.

Star Jasmine

Producing fragrant white flowers in summer, the star jasmine is an evergreen, woody climber with oval leaves.

Christmas Box

Christmas box is a dense, dark-green evergreen that blooms in winter with intensely fragrant white flowers.

'Aztec Pearl'

Choisya 'Aztec Pearl', commonly called Mexican Orange Blossom, is an evergreen shrub with slender, glossy, dark green leaves and clusters of fragrant, pink-tinged white flowers in late spring.

Osmanthus Burkwoodii Sweetly Scented Trumpet Bloom

Deep green leaves of Burkwood Osmanthus provide high contrast of small, white, sweetly fragrant flowers. Because of its sweet scent, it makes a great shrub near walks and entrances.

Daphne Pink

The daphne is a deciduous shrub that produces purple-pink flowers in early spring before the leaves appear. Daphne is fragrant but toxic.

Sensation Lilac (Syringa vulgaris ‘Sensation’)

Plant Sensation lilac for a showstopping spring display. Fragrant flower clusters feature single purple blooms edged in white. Blooms open in mid-spring on plants that grow 8 to 10 feet tall and 8 to 12 feet wide. Sensation is hardy in Zones 2 to 7. Occasionally flowers may revert to solid white.

Tea Olive

The small white blossoms of tea olive (Osmanthus fragrans) have a delicious apricot scent. This shrub does well in full sun or part shade but in hot climates prefers part shade in the afternoon.

Gardenia

The gardenia is native to China and Japan. Hardy to zone 7, it’s valued not only for its wonderful fragrance but also for its elegant long-blooming waxy white flowers and thick glossy evergreen leaves.

The lovely pink 'Gertrude Jekyll' rose has a classic strong, rich old rose fragrance.
