Grow the 'Scarlet Giant' Hibiscus for a Tropical Effect

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, 'Scarlet Giant', is a deciduous shrub native to tropical and subtropical areas. It features large, funnel shaped brilliant red flowers. They grow in full sun and well drained soil.

The Scarlet Dahlia

'Grenadier' is an excellent dahlia variety that is particularly useful for plugging those late-season gaps in the herbaceous border. Its double flowers are bright scarlet with petals that arch back.

This bold red anemone is a Mediterranean variety that likes full sun and blooms in spring. It also comes in pink or purple.
