    Figure C
  • Use clear acrylic caulk to mend a rip in a shower curtain. Place wax paper against the rip on one side of the curtain, then apply a narrow line of caulk to the other side (figure C). Smooth with a damp finger.

  • Apply weatherproofing caulk to the knees of your gardening jeans. Smooth it on with a damp hand. This will keep your knees waterproof when kneeling in the garden.

  • Use peelable caulk around the gaps between your screens and window frames to keep out bugs. It is removable for when you need to take off the screen or paint.
