Organizing a Multipurpose Family Room

Homeowner Beth Patterson is an accomplished bargain hunter; she knows a deal when she sees it. The problem is her home is cluttered with all her deals, especially the family room. Her husband, Sam, says the stuff keeps on accumulating and nothing ever seems to go away.

When the couple first moved into their home, they used this room as a storage area. Now that they have two small children, the room has many purposes –– it’s the playroom, family room, computer room and library. Beth works from home and has an office set up in the room. She's finding it hard to get work done because of the piles of paper on her desk. Beth is also a garage-sale junkie.
