Hide CaptionShow CaptionThe joint office the couple used to share is now solely Mary Michele's space. David's office is now where Mary Michele's sewing room was.
Half of Mary Michele's desk is her sewing station, while the other half is her office area. Shelves and storage bins provide plenty of room for fabric remnants and patterns. A foldout, wall-mounted ironing board saves space. For the large bolts of fabric, PVC piping was used to create a bin that keeps all the rolls standing up against the wall. In David's office (not shown), storage bins and cubbies allow him to keep cables and computer equipment neat and orderly. A jewelry box with small compartments is incorporated into the storage system to hold small plugs and devices.
