Cut up the following fruits:
cantaloupe--Use the skin, seeds and pulp, which contain natural oils and antioxidants (that give integrity and strength to the hair)
oranges--vitamin C
apples--pectin, adds shine and strengthens the hair
Preparation:
Use two to three pieces of each fruit and boil them in two pints of water for 10 minutes. Cool, then strain.
Combine the strained liquid with equal parts of vinegar and decant into a plastic bottle. It will keep in the refrigerator up to two weeks.
Apply the conditioner to a wet head, working in thoroughly. Leave on the hair for about five to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Shampoo as usual. You wont need a conditioner after shampooing. Use once or twice a week.
Deep Conditioner
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 cup plain yogurt
Preparation:
Mix an egg with yogurt to make a heavy paste for hair. Massage in and leave on the hair for 10 to 30 minutes, depending on how much conditioning your hair needs. Wearing a plastic cap worn over your hair will increase the intensity of the effect. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo. Repeat one to two times a month.
