Hobby Room Overhaul

Cary Salzmann and Ryan Agler are University of North Carolina alumni who enjoyed their college experience so much they decided to make Chapel Hill their home by purchasing the house they rented throughout college. They are serious about transforming their dwelling from a typical college space into a functional family home, but that won't be possible until they address their disastrous hobby room.

At 10' x 16', this hobby room is a cluttered mess of computer gear, craft supplies and an assortment of clothes. It also feels dreary, with the desk blocking the window and the walls painted a dark color. It's going to take the help of professional organizer Kristin Long to teach homeowners Cary Salzmann and Ryan Agler about organization and give them a user-friendly space of their dreams.
