Getting the Garage in Order

Robin and Sean Whitsell of Chapel Hill, N.C., have been so busy with their hectic work schedule and raising their two young children that their homekeeping has suffered — especially in the garage.

At 20' x 27', their garage is overflowing with unfinished projects, tools, shoes and sporting equipment. Small open shelving makes it all too easy for unlike items to be thrown together. The Whitsells desperately want their space back, so organizer Kristin Long signs on to help them reclaim it.
