Den Declutter

Daaimah Talley and her daughter, Siedah, have outgrown the home workspace they have been sharing. Siedah has her own event-planning business, and Daaimah assists her, while also acting as the associate producer for a professional theater company.

They have been working out of their 15 by 15-foot den, which has become jam packed with supplies for both businesses--bags and boxes cover everything, including the couch, which makes the room unbearable to use and nearly impossible to navigate.

Professional organizer Pam Socolow comes to the rescue, formulating a plan for making the room beautiful and efficient. Sorting through all the clutter and removing and rearranging existing furniture are key points in her plan. She also intends to bring warmth to the room with fresh wallpaper and wall paint in various areas.
