Graphic designer Whitney Wexler has an eye for style, but when it comes to organization, she's working with one eye shut. Her passions for unconventional designs have inspired her to use her creativity to try to get organized. Unfortunately things don't always work out the way one plans.

A pink antique refrigerator in the living room was supposed to serve as a conversation piece and storage area, but over time, it has become a home for clutter.

The dining-room table was intended to double as a workspace and an everything-else space. There are so many items on it that Wexler has been forced to take her workspace to the floor.

She opted to use a butcher block as a TV stand. It has been passed around the family for years, and she refuses to get rid of it.

She built this shelving system herself and wanted it to look like it was built into the wall. She is reluctant to get rid of this piece as well.
