Robin and Chris Carroll are converting the roof of their condo intro an urban retreat. But plans need to be modified as city codes change. Architect John Lenti and landscape contractor Larry Asimow pool their resources to give the Carrolls a lush rooftop oasis. Cedar decking is used for a platform for table and chairs. Recycled rubber tiles make the entertaining area soft and relaxing. A modular planting system provides ground cover while tall planters filled with grasses and colorful annuals will add height. It's all topped off with an eye-catching canopy.
