Living in a high-rise studio condo isn’t San Colechio’s style. She’s a busy banking executive with a traditional home in the suburbs, but she needs a downtown crash pad for those occasional long work days. In the 1960s, her building was the epitome of modern design. While the building remains an architectural wonder, the amenities are a bit less uninspiring. Colechio wants to take a chance with her design and step away from her traditional style, and designer Suzanne Maviano is armed with ideas to do just that.
