Kitchen To Great Room

Before, the kitchen was functional, but homeowners Maureen and Jim wanted a room that could support their growing family. The eating area in the kitchen was hampered by traffic flow and needed to expand. The spacious new great room connects the kitchen directly to the outdoors, allowing their children direct access without having to trudge through the living room. There are also several new large windows and a fireplace, making the space a bright, warm room for relaxation and informal gathering.
