Matthew Boyce recalls that even as a toddler he wanted to “know how things worked” and disassembled items ranging from his toys to the vacuum cleaner. Later, through various work experiences, what he learned about carpentry and construction taught him how to build and repair anything from cars to houses. Matthew credits his dad as his greatest influence — he could repair anything around the house and also taught Matthew that he could accomplish anything. Today Matthew is a practicing architectural designer and sits on several United States Green Building Council Committees.
