Nilmini and Joel Rubin live in a 1800s grand Victorian home. But the fairy tale image was dulled by the bare dirt landscaping, colorless facade and drab style. The Rubin's house looked more like a dungeon than a castle, but designer Anthony Wilder provided a happy ending to this home's story. Updates include stained glass above the door, a wrought-iron fence, some actual living plants for the landscaping and a finial to top off the home.
Projects
- Stain glass above door
- New finial for the turret
- New low maintenance landscape
- Hedge for privacy
- Outdoor furniture
- Stain on concrete walkway
- New bench and fountain in garden
- New garden lighting
- Rout iron fence
- Iron window boxes
- Tricolor paint on window trim
