Nilmini and Joel Rubin live in a 1800s grand Victorian home. But the fairy tale image was dulled by the bare dirt landscaping, colorless facade and drab style. The Rubin's house looked more like a dungeon than a castle, but designer Anthony Wilder provided a happy ending to this home's story. Updates include stained glass above the door, a wrought-iron fence, some actual living plants for the landscaping and a finial to top off the home.

Projects

  • Stain glass above door
  • New finial for the turret
  • New low maintenance landscape
  • Hedge for privacy
  • Outdoor furniture
  • Stain on concrete walkway
  • New bench and fountain in garden
  • New garden lighting
  • Rout iron fence
  • Iron window boxes
  • Tricolor paint on window trim
