Basia Grocholski and Douglas Friedmutter have set up home in the fashionable neighborhood of Williamsburg, N.Y. Together they have set up a successful graphic design business that they run from the basement of their condo. With little space to escape from each other, living and working together can quickly turn from a dream into a nightmare. They are both mad about Tuscany, where Douglas proposed, and long to be able to step out into Italian-inspired backyard. Host Matt James uses authentic clay bricks and overflowing Mediterranean plantings to transform the yard with a little touch of Tuscany.

A concrete condo and patchy lawn are two challenges facing Matt James when redesigning this couple's backyard. He will create a Tuscan garden while still adhering to the condominium's design.
