After seeing all the professional designs, the couple decides on Dave Tibbetts' Hawaiian-inspired backyard with New England flair. The existing deck is extended to add room for a barbecue and a new serving counter, and the railing is removed to open up to a relaxing hot tub. An eight-foot long fence protects the patio from wind and hides utilities, like the air conditioner. Their backyard is now a tranquil tropical retreat that offers plenty of space for entertainment and relaxation year round.
