Sophisticated Poolside Oasis

Jason Zelin and Allison Stein's classic 1916 home is full of vintage charm. They love the style and character of the house, but the yard has fallen into disrepair. Old plants have gotten so big they are blocking the view, and the hardscape around the outdated pool is in urgent need of a redo. Design experts lend a helping hand by transforming the entire yard into an elegant oasis.

Jason and Allison have lived in their elegant older home since their son was born 16 years ago. However, they've stopped entertaining outdoors because plants have grown out of control and the hardscape need a major renovation. They want to keep the "P" shape of their pool, but get rid of the fencing since their children are now grown. In addition, the couple wants to incorporate a better, built-in barbecue and some kind of water feature.
