Overgrown Backyard Redesigned Into Family-Friendly Garden

Five years ago, Jeff and Jennifer Lederman bought their beautiful Brooklyn brownstone to escape the manic Manhattan life. However, their dream of quality family time hasn't been realized because of their overgrown, ramshackle yard. Host Matt James transforms the mess into a stylish, multifunctional space where the adults can relax and entertain and their daughter Shira can play safely in a child-friendly garden.

Restaurateur Jeff, busy city executive Jennifer and daughter Shira have precious time to spend together as a family. Their spacious backyard would make the perfect place to hang out together if it wasn't an overgrown mess. This is not to mention the wild, thorny rose bush and broken paving that make it too dangerous for little Shira to even venture outside. They want to keep the shade trees for privacy but redesign the space into a family-friendly sanctuary.
