Natalie and Rusty Davis want to makeover their parents' empty backyard. To create a space where the family can hang out, landscape designer Matt Akabane incorporates an old world charm with a flagstone patio, custom benches and fire pit.

Rusty and Natalie Davis love their childhood home, where their parents still live. They recently finished remodeling the home and now it's time to update the backyard. Since the small yard is full of dirt and old grass, the kids want to transform the space with a new lawn and plenty of room for entertaining.
