Hide CaptionShow CaptionSpencer finds a solution to the lighting issues in this sunroom.
Design coordinator Spencer Anderson creates a unique overhead lighting solution using very thin sheets of cold rolled steel. He stabilizes each piece of steel with a 1x2 pine frame, which also allows the pieces to be hung from the ceiling. Fluorescent lights are placed on top of each piece of steel. The steel panels diffuse the daylight streaming in through the skylight, help to coordinate with the corrugated metal ceiling, and at night, the fluorescent lights provide an additional light source.
