Mediterranean Loggia

The shelf in the designer loggia is constructed from reclaimed timber. For the shelf in the makeover loggia, a piece of 2x8 lumber is stained a honey walnut color then mounted onto concrete corbels.

Halili found a variety of accessories with an old-world feel to imitate the designer room. She purchased vases of varied height to add visual interest. Goblets, dinnerware and candles in a great a mix of golds, reds and greens are scattered around the patio for accent.

Tip: When buying scented candles make sure the scents are compatible if they’re going to be in the same room — for example; mango and vanilla is a good mix, rose and pine, not so good.
