Thyme Lawn
This beautiful bed of thyme consists of a number of different cultivars planted in clumps to create a patchwork of colors. This bed is surrounded by an attractive curved brick edge that contains the spreading plants. Bees love this plant so do not walk across the lawn with bare feet while it is in flower. Although thyme lawns release a beautiful scent when walked on, they don't tolerate much foot traffic and will benefit from having stepping stones placed through them if a lot of wear and tear is expected.
