Garden on a Prairie

Off the patio, a creek catches water in the rainy season but most of the time it's just a dull, dry ditch. The area around the creek bed is Austin chalk, which is native to the area. Sallia would like to keep the look of the chalky limestone but enhance the space with lush plantings and rocks.
