After considering the three design plans, the Bandys' decide to use the expertise of Scott Reynolds and Annie Gillespie, whose design draws the eye up to the house with a welcoming grassy area. The lawn near the house has been expanded into a much more useable space adorned with flowers, shrubs and boulders. A stone footpath leads from the bridge to an informal sitting area surrounded by boulders for seating, shade trees and dry land plants.
