Homeowners Fennis Ho and Joel Knutson have a conventional suburban backyard that they would like customized to their personality. Landscape designer Beth Mullins creates a backyard that combines both the Craftsman style with a modern Zen feel, including a mediation platform, flagstone patio and winding pathways.

Joel Knutson and Fennis Ho hardly use their cookie cutter suburban backyard, which doesn't match their unique style. They want to incorporate several useful areas with lots of foliage and color.
