All About

All arisaemas--which some people refer to as hardy tropicals--are hardy to Zone 5 with winter protection. They're true woodland plants, and they must be grown in a well-drained, moist soil that's high in organic matter. They also need shade most of the day, although a little morning sun or dappled light is okay. When placed in the right spot in the shade garden, they are quite showy.
