Hide CaptionShow CaptionMatt has chosen plants that offer transient color off and on throughout the season. All About
The planting includes ornamental grasses, daylilies, Asiatic lilies, roses, ajuga, heliotrope, red-hot pokers and Salvia 'East Friesland'. Buddleia davidii 'Lochinch', also known as butterfly bush, has spiky mauve-blue flowers that will attract wildlife like butterflies. To keep it from getting unruly, prune back hard in March to about one foot from the ground. Evergreens, such as this holly, anchor the planting and provide winter interest.
