Host Paul Ghiringhelli meets a homeowner whose boring backyard doesn't reflect her outgoing and artistic personality. Landscape designer Mindy Krueger creates a landscape design to fit the eclectic style of homeowner Michele Licata. Cedar benches, privacy screens and low-maintenance plants all come together to form this colorful, bohemian-inspired backyard.

The homeowner wants a low-maintenance yard where she can have dinner parties and relax with privacy. Right now this space doesn't have any interest or character.

This corner has lots of potential and character, but right now it's being used for storage.

After

Next to a cedar bench sits a Buddha statue. It now rests in a carved-out niche on an existing tree stump.

The nook is now a great area for a private dinner party or an intimate spot for relaxation.

The once unsightly retaining wall has been transformed into additional seating for guests.
