Hide CaptionShow CaptionThe new design incorporates an Old World feel with New Orleans-style brick and flagstone patio.
The homeowner spent a week looking over the three designs before deciding on Brian Sublette. His choice of materials gives an old-world feel to the courtyard complete with French doors and a long set of brick steps to tie both entrances together. The fence is raised two feet and tall palm trees are placed just outside, saving space in the courtyard while providing privacy and shade. The floor of the courtyard is covered with a pattern of old New Orleans brick and flagstone that tie in visually with the new parking area. In the corner of the courtyard is a wrought iron table and chairs for entertaining.
